OK, bear with me...

I create a document in Writer (StarOffice v7 update 7). Everything is fine, margins, paper orientation is portrait, etc. I save the document and pull it up later, all is still OK. I 'Save As' and choose HTML (the end user of this document wants it in HTML format). When I pull the HTML-saved document up again, the lines are all now 12" long, and you have to scroll back and forth across the page to read it. Grrrrr...... When I open the file with Firefox, the same thing happens, the page seems to be 12 inches wide, and you must scroll back and forth across the page to read each line.

Now, I have altered or changed nothing in Writer. No new settings or changed styles. I have done this type of work before for this client, creating a document in Writer then saving it in HTML, with no problems. The page width and such remained the same, bold face, italics, etc. stayed the same in those previous documents.

I am very frustrated with this. I do not know HTML, so have no idea what is going on.

Can anyone guide me to a solution for this problem? PM or email me if could offer a solution. Thanks!
